The Beermen failed to strike a commanding 3-1 Finals series advantage last they went out to battle their opponent as a result the championship battleground is even once again. The Tropang Giga was able to reclaim the momentum and for sure they wanted to keep and take advantage now that the series is now reduced to a best-of-three showdown.

Jayson Castro who failed to secure the victory in Game 3 bounced back big time as he logged 26 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Apart from Castro’s sterling performance, the KaTropa got their motivation for their head coach (Chot Reyes) who is now back after serving the country when Gilas Pilipinas played against team Lebanon.
“Malaking bagay na andito na uli si coach kasi extra motivation at the same time, naaayos ang execution namin,” said Castro.
For the Beermen on the other hand, that magical moment that happened in Game 3 is now in the PBA history books which obviously didn’t occur in Game 4. Many SMB fans thought that Rob Herndon will finally get his minutes after helping the Beermen take that 2-1 lead yet he went back deeper in their lineup as he only logged less than seven minutes of basketball action.
“Kailangan namin mag-regroup,” said Fajardo. “Tignan namin kung ano ang mali, at tignan namin kung ano pwedeng i-adjust para maka-bounce back kami.”
