Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Blackwater Bossing and the Terrafirma Dyip scheduled on October 14, 2022, at 3:00 PM live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Dyip will make another attempt to stop their losing streak which dates back from the previous season while the Bossing wanted to make a quick bounce-back victory to keep their top-eight position in the ongoing 47th PBA second conference tournament.
Blackwater was on its way to its third victory last Wednesday yet another meltdown occurred in the final and important quarter. They squandered their almost double-digit lead which leads to another defeat.
Bossing head coach Ariel Vanguardia is always concerned about how his troops are able to hold their stand, especially in the winning moments of the match and that’s the area he wanted his team to improve.
“So far… hindi pa sanay mag-protect ng lead, na tuloy-tuloy mag-dominate,” Vanguardia said.
Baser Amer and Troy Rosario had a spectacular scoring production on that NorthPort Batang Pier duel where the pair logged a combined 33 points while their import Cameron Krutwig continue to be their hulk as he muscled 28 points and 17 rebounds.
Finding a victory now becomes elusive for Terrafirma, seems like the last time they tasted a win was in the distant past. Currently, they’re staring 20-game straight defeats.
Yet, for Dyip head coach Johnadel Cardel the positive vibes are still present in his players, and the will to win still flowing.
“Sa tingin ko naman hindi nag-ba-back down sa challenge ang players and ‘yung fight nila nandoon pa rin,” said the former Negros Slashers sleek shooter who turned coach.
Another concern that the Terrafirma squad needs to overcome is the availability of their high-scoring guard Juami Tiongson who compliments the production of their hardworking import, Lester Prosper.
