Converge vs Bay Area Dragons Live Score And Result | 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup

Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Bay Area Dragons and the Converge FiberXers scheduled on October 7, 2022, at 5:45 PM.

The Dragons are looking for their new prey and extending their winning streak to four in a row while the FiberXers will try to maneuver their way back to the winning path of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Converge is coming from a tough competition against one of the league-leading squads in the PBA, the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots. They had control of the match in the first three quarters but gave up their lead which piled as much as 14 points in the final quarter after their opponent went almost unstoppable by logging 38 points in the fourth period.

FiberXers import Quincy Miller continues to be consistent in his performance as he logged 38 points and 16 rebounds in that said match. Justine Arana is slowly becoming one of the league’s beasts inside the paint as he chipped in with his 14 markers and nine boards.

For the visiting Dragons, their rampage in the PBA gets stronger each time they step inside the basketball court. Their most recent victim was the Phoenix LPG Fuelmasters last October 1, 2022, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Though they started slowly in that game particularly in the first quarter yet they quickly made their adjustment in the second quarter and executed it well for them to take back the driving seat.

“I was really disappointed at the start of the game. We’re a step off, reaching fouls, giving them a lot of baskets on penetration and transition. But midway in the second quarter and the rest of the game, I thought we did a good job defensively and locked them up,” said Bay Area head coach Brian Goorjian.

Myles Powell’s shooting hands are still blazing and probably one of the headaches of the opposing squads. Against Phoenix, he logged 32 points and 10 rebounds while Bay Area’s gentle giant who is now becoming popular in the Philippines’ basketball scene added eight points and five rebounds.

“From 16 down, we went almost 20 up so I’m happy with the performance moving forward. We started poor but got better and better as the game went on,” he added.
