Rain or Shine (ROS) vs Terrafirma Live Score And Result | 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup

Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the Terrafirma Dyip scheduled on October 2, 2022, at 4:30 PM.

The Elasto Painters will make an attempt to extend their winning ways to two in a row while the Dyip are hoping that these could be the day that they’ll log their first victory in the ongoing 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup which will resume this afternoon at the Big Dome.

In his second game after returning to Rain or Shine as the official head coach, Yeng Guiao snagged a victory and not just a simple win but against the fan-favorite squad, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.

Rain or Shine literally showed no mercy in that match as they were able to pile 32 points advantage. It might be that the Gin Kings are on their rare off-nights but hey, a win is a win. Despite the All-Star cast of Ginebra, the young guns of RoS along with their import knows how to extinguish a fire each time Ginebra made their mini runs.

“It feels good to come back from the loss the last time. Magandang bawi, malaking isda ang nahuli namin,” said Guiao. “Mahirap mahuli ang Ginebra sa ganitong sitwasyon. It’s so rare that you caught them on their off night. Ginebra is an All-Star team, especially with the addition of Jamie Malonzo. They’re gonna be scary in the near future,” Guiao added. “Sana (this win) is for real.”

Steve Taylor Jr. had his bounce-back outing where he dropped a double-double performance with 21 points and ten boards while Leonard “Santi” Santillan was one of the locals who made double-digit in scoring with his 15 points while Matt Nieto added markers in that match.

For Terrafirma on the other hand, finding that elusive “W” is becoming more difficult for them, their most recent defeat has now reached to 18-game losing skid.

Dyip’s head coach Johnedel Cardel might already found the reason for their woes and that’s individualism. That’s where players are more concerned about their personal stats instead of team wins.

“Lagi naming sinasabi sa kanila, ‘Kapag nagkanya-kanya tayo walang mangyayari,” said Cardel.

Against Magnolia, according to the stat sheet, it appears that the squad is depending more on their balik-import Lester Prosper who tried to carry the team with his 42 points and 22 rebounds. Juami Tiongson who found his scoring groove in the second half chipped in with 19 points.

“Ipinapaalala din naming sa kanila na hindi kami malakas na team at lalong humihina kapag hindi kami magtutulong-tulong so para manalo we should play as a team at hindi ‘yung individual stats ang iniintindi,” Cardel added.
