PBA Live Score and Result: Meralco vs NLEX | 2022 Commissioner’s Cup | November 30, 2022

Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Meralco Bolts and the NLEX Road Warriors scheduled on November 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM live from the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Metro Manila.

The Bolts need to pick up immediately and snag another victory to avoid conflict on acquiring the last ticket to the next round of the competition while the Road Warriors will try to spoil that and they themselves wanted to catch the last call as the PBA Playoffs train is about to leave the platform.

The Road Warriors may find their winning formula under the watch of their new head coach Frankie Lim. That basketball strategy was tested during their last game against powerhouse, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel several days ago.

“Actually, ang nagpanalo sa amin sa Ginebra is our pre-game preparations. We did the same with Meralco, talagang hinimay namin to see what we can do defensively,” said Lim.

Probably another motivation for NLEX prior to their against the fan-favorite Ginebra was after they got defeated by the cellar dweller team, the Terrafirma Dyip where they got whipped. Now that they’re able to regroup and back in winning form, the former Alaska skipper turned head coach doesn’t want to put that effort into anything.

“As I’ve said, that was an extra special win against a powerhouse team like Ginebra and we cannot let that go to waste,” said Lim. “Kailangan magandang follow-up so kailangan manalo uli sa Meralco.”

Apart from that winning atmosphere in Road Warriors camp, they also found another hero in their lineup who just earned the league’s weekly honors for a top performer. Don Trollano was just named the Cignal Play-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week for the period of November 23-27.

“We were motivated coming from the terrible loss to Terrafirma. Hindi kami pwedeng matalo (tonight),” said Trollano.

Meralco just snapped their three-game winning streak after absorbing a defeat versus the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots last November 27 at the PhilSports Arena. That was also their first taste of defeat after onboarding KJ McDaniels who happened to be a former import of the Road Warriors.

Losing this game means that they may go to a sudden death match most likely versus NLEX. Yet, this picture will only be revealed as soon as the final standings are final.
