Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the Blackwater Bossings scheduled on November 25, 2022, at 3:00 PM live from the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
The Bossing is very eager to snap their five-game losing skid and hope for some last-chance quarterfinals showdown if there’ll be some eight-placer showdown while the Elastopainters wanted to solidify their second round trip when the league resumes its battles this afternoon.
ROS head coach Yeng Guiao is a well-known fiery leader and with their current situation where they’re one of the teams which are chasing for the last playoff berth, his motivational speech inside their dugout is expected.
Rain or Shine along with Meralco Bolts and TNT Tropang Giga sits at four wins record and good thing they have two more games scheduled which they can use to separate them from other contending teams aiming for that last quarterfinals spot.
“Sa tingin ko, if we could win our last two games wala na kami sa playoffs (for at least one of the last berths). Pero if we could win only one we might need to go through a playoff,” said Guiao.
One of their preparation as they go out and hit the decks of PhilSports Arena is to eliminate complacency from themselves and look beyond the win-loss card of their opponent.
“Deceptive iyun. Baka maisip mo na kayang-kaya, you relax, you play over-confident,” said Guiao. “Then biglang gumanda laro nila then you panic. We’re aware of that and we will make sure na mentally we’re going to be ready for them,” he added.
For Blackwater, the majority of their key local players will be sitting from the sidelines. Troy Rosario, Baser Amer, Jayvee Casio are all nursing with their respective injuries while Josh Torralba won’t be available for today’s match to undergo health and safety protocols.
“Kumpleto na first five sila sa sidelines,” Vanguardia told the press half joking with regard to the challenge of his team.
