Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the Talk ‘N Text TNT Tropang Giga and the Bay Area Dragons scheduled on November 23, 2022, at 3:00 PM live from the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
The visiting Dragons are looking forward to continuing their devouring against the local teams and solidifying their position as the number one squad in the standings while the Tropang Giga will make an attempt to improve their record to stretch their season until the playoffs.
The TNT squad is staring on their 4-6 card and sharing the last ticket going to the quarterfinals round with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, yet only one team will be the last passenger as the 2022 PBA second conference moves to its second round.
To make the situation more challenging for head coach Chot Reyes, Jayson Castro and Cameron Oliver sustained an injury when they played against the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel last Sunday. Though they bowed low against team NSD, their opponent’s head coach sees their effort positively.
“You named me the winning coach, but I felt I was outcoached. They lost Jayson (Castro), Mikey (Williams) a bit and they played with no import. They were dropping like flies but they kept coming at us. It was a well-coached game and I scrambled to keep up,” said coach Tim Cone.
The KaTropa has no choice but to bring in a new import and this time the one they’ve got is more of a playmaker and team energizer.
“We expect Matt to be our creator and inject energy in our offense. He’s not a big guy who can dominate inside but we are hoping we can make our team faster (with Mobley,)” said TNT team manager Jojo Lastimosa.
For the BAD team, though they’re the much superior squad in this ongoing tournament yet their head coach isn’t discounting what damage TNT can do to them, especially since he knows the capability of coach Chot Reyes to overcome basketball hurdles.
“(Reyes is) a man I respect and I like and I know his team’s gonna be tough and prepared,” said Bay Area head coach Brian Goorjian.
