The Gin Kings are for sure headed to the playoffs but if they bring along with them a winning mindset then it’ll be good conditioning for them while FiberXers might be also thinking the same, winning note heading to the second round of the competition.
The dust of this year’s second conference is slowly settling down and the second placer of the elimination round is soon to be revealed. Currently, Ginebra may still be at number three yet if they are able to snag tonight’s win there’s still a chance for them to move up and overtake the position that Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots owns at the moment.
That possibility may only be put into reality if the Hotshots lose to the Rain or Shine Elastopainters on the final day of prelims this coming Friday. Clearly, that match is way beyond the control of the fan-favorite squad still if the opportunity presents itself their win-loss card must be ready.

For Converge, they started the tournament sounds like they’re an experimental team. They replaced Jeff Cariaso with Aldin Ayo in order to complement their team which consists of the younger generation.
The FiberXers employed a collegiate type of basketball fueled by their run-and-gun basketball style which now resulted in an 8-3 card. Tonight, their young legs will be once again on a test against much older but well-tested veterans.
