Here are the scores, updates, and results of the NBA 2022-2023 Regular Season between the Sacramento Kings (SAC) and the Dallas Mavericks (DAL) on February 12, 2023 (All times are in Philippine Standard Time) at the Golden 1 Center.

The Sacramento Kings defends homecourt and might have achieved their greatest win in the season as they triumph over the Dallas Mavericks in overtime.

De’Aaron Fox always steps up for the team when the going gets tough, and he did so against the Mavs, tallying 36 points and converted six crucial free throws in the remaining 18.4 seconds of OT.

“Most point guards don’t guard me,” Fox shared. “It’s a bit different for me. … It’s a lot, but I feel like I was blessed with the tools to be able to do that.”

Domantas Sabonis added a stellar performance in the win, producing 22 points, 14 boards and went 10-12 on his shots, ending the game with a big double-double with efficient shooting. Davis had 22 points also as he came off from the secondary cast of the Kings.

“Heck of a job by our guys,” Mike Brown shared. “Defensively, we did a pretty good job in both second halves. … We had a lot of great individual performances.”

Both Irving and Doncic had big outputs for Dallas in their first game on the court together for the Mavs, but it was not enough to take the win in the road. Irving scored 28 points and played a massive role in their late surge in OT while Doncic had 27 points and nine boards, almost finishing the contest with a double-double stat line.

“I thought it was good,” Jason Kidd shared. “It was just natural. Nothing forced. It’s going to make us that much better. They did an incredible job.”

Josh Green was a difference maker in their showdown against Sacramento, hitting deflating threes on them. Overall, Green had 23 points and went 8-12 on his shots.

The Mavs improve to 31-27 while the Kings fall down to 32-24.
