PBA Live Score and Result: San Miguel (SMB) vs Terrafirma | 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup | February 3, 2023

The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Terrafirma Dyip at 3:00 PM on February 3, 2023 live from the Ynares Center in Antipolo City, Rizal.

The Beermen wanted to keep their winning pace and protect their unblemished record while the Dyip are eyeing a back-to-back victory and proving that they can also capable of toppling a firehouse squad.

For the first time in many games, the squad led by former Negros Slashers shooting guard and now head coach of Terrafirma, Johnedel Cardel looks hyped up after dealing with one of the PBA third conference favorite teams, the Meralco Bolts several days ago.

Probably that’s the feeling not only they got the victory but they have a player on their team having a Jordan surname written on the back of his jersey. Likewise, their top local scorer Juami Tiongson continues to perform at a high level.

“I have Jordan, I have Juami, I have everything so siguro sa bawa’t game dito makaka-tsamba kami,” said Cardel.

Against the Bolts, Jordan Williams and Tiongson had a combined 59 points outing. The former Ateneo Blue Eagles player could be the local player Terrafirma is looking for in order for them to move to a higher level. Both of these players must continue what they’re doing to snag another victory.

However, the mighty Beermen knows what’s going on with Terrafirma and right after their game versus the Blackwater Elite last Wednesday, head coach Jorge Gallent already preparing his troops for another basketball battle for their Friday schedule.

“It’s good we played the first game today so we have time to rest for the game on Friday. We just have to prepare tomorrow (Thursday) for Terrafirma,” said Gallent.

Expect they’ll design a defense to disrupt the dynamic duo of the Dyip.

“You know, make it quick and go home and save the legs for Friday because Terrafirma also has… they came from a win so their confidence is high also,” Gallent added.
