The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 5:45 PM on March 15, 2023 live from the PhilSports Arena at Pasig City, Metro Manila.

The Beermen will try to make a quick bounce back after absorbing a defeat during their last outing while the Road Warriors wanted to keep their position in the standings at number four for them to obtain the twice-to-beat incentive during the quarterfinals round.

The excitement for the PBA Governors’ Cup continues in today’s match between the San Miguel Beermen and the NLEX Road Warriors as both teams battle for a Top 4 spot in the upcoming playoffs. The Beermen, who are currently in third place with a 7-2 record, are looking to secure an outright Top 4 seat and a twice-to-beat bonus in the quarters. On the other hand, the Road Warriors, currently at No. 4 with a 7-3 record, are in a must-win situation to maintain their Top 4 position.

According to Coach Jorge Gallent of the Beermen, a win against the Road Warriors will automatically put them among the top tiers with TNT and Barangay Ginebra. However, the Beermen will have to fight without their six-time MVP winner June Mar Fajardo, who is out for six weeks due to a grade 3 medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury.

Despite this, the Beermen remain confident with their imports, Cameron Clark, and their talented roster composed of CJ Perez, Vic Manuel, Jericho Cruz, Marcio Lassiter, Moala Tautuaa, Chris Ross, and Simon Enciso.

On the other hand, the Road Warriors are coming off an impressive win against the Terrafirma Dyip, where Don Trollano scored a new league record of nine consecutive three-pointers and 44 points overall. Coach Frankie Lim emphasized that their focus is on securing a win against the Beermen to maintain their position in the Top 4.

“Sa akin what matters most is the win. I think the records and the score will just come in. Mas important yung win namin for tonight,” said Lim.

Trollano, who played an outstanding game, shared his coach’s sentiments and emphasized the importance of a win in this match.

“Kailangan naming manalo, Crucial din itong game na ito kasi we’re trying to get to the Top 4 para sa twice-to-beat. So kung matalo kami, baka yung chance namin bumaba,” he stressed.

With both teams determined to secure their playoff spots, this match promises to be a thrilling and exciting game that basketball fans should not miss. Tune in to the PBA Governors’ Cup and witness the San Miguel Beermen and the NLEX Road Warriors battle it out on the court!
