The San Antonio Spurs have secured the return of forward Dominick Barlow, signing him to a two-way contract for the upcoming season. This re-signing comes after Barlow’s promising performances as a two-way player for the Spurs last season, during which he showcased his potential and versatility on the court.

Barlow’s journey to the Spurs started with his time at Overtime Elite, where he impressed NBA scouts and earned a spot on the team’s 2022 Summer League roster. His standout performances during the Summer League earned him a two-way deal ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Throughout the season, Barlow split his time between the Austin Spurs, the G League affiliate of San Antonio, and the NBA team itself. Despite limited playing minutes, he demonstrated his skills and potential, averaging 3.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game with an impressive field goal percentage of 53.5%.

During the 2023 NBA Summer League, Barlow continued to impress, posting impressive stats of 16.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game. His standout performances included a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds in the final game of the season against the Dallas Mavericks.

The decision to re-sign Barlow on a two-way contract indicates the Spurs’ confidence in his abilities and potential for growth. As the first-ever Overtime Elite athlete to sign with an NBA team, Barlow has already proven himself as a solid NBA player, and the Spurs look forward to providing him with more playing time and opportunities to develop his skills further.
