Jerome Robinson, the 13th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Boston College, is ready to make his comeback. After struggling to find success in the league and being out of action since the 2021 season with the Washington Wizards, Robinson has signed a training camp contract with the Golden State Warriors, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

During his college career, Robinson displayed impressive scoring ability, averaging 20.7 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 40.9% from beyond the arc in his final season. However, he has been unable to replicate that success at the NBA level. Robinson’s last appearance in the league came during the 2020-21 season, where he played for the Wizards.

In the G League this past year, Robinson showcased his skills, averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in 24 regular-season games, with 21 starts. He shot 46.3% from the field and 36.2% from three-point range. Despite his NBA struggles, these numbers indicate that Robinson still possesses the potential to make an impact on the court.

Throughout his three-year NBA career, Robinson has only played for the Clippers and Wizards. He has accumulated averages of 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in 113 regular-season appearances, with a shooting percentage of 36.3% from the field and 31.0% from beyond the arc. Additionally, he has participated in five NBA playoff games.

At just 26 years old, Robinson remains a player worth taking a chance on. The Golden State Warriors, known for their ability to develop talent, have given him an opportunity to prove himself during training camp. Robinson has already spent the last two seasons with the Warriors’ G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, which has allowed him to develop his skills further.

Now, Robinson’s focus is on earning a roster spot for the upcoming 2023-24 season. With his recent G League performance and a training camp contract in hand, he will have the chance to showcase his abilities and make a case for a spot on the Warriors’ roster. His previous NBA experience and the potential he has displayed make him an intriguing prospect as the Warriors evaluate their options.

With his skills and determination, Jerome Robinson is ready to embark on a new chapter in his basketball journey. The training camp with the Golden State Warriors presents him with an opportunity to reignite his NBA career and make a lasting impact in the league.
