The Luzon All Stars is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Smart All Star National Team (Gilas Pilipinas) at 4:00 P.M. on May 25, 2018 live from the Batangas City Coliseum, Batangas.

The Philippines Men’s Basketball squad is looking to make a bounce back after got defeated last Wednesday in Digos versus the Mindanao All Stars. This afternoon, they will be meeting the best PBA players assembled from Luzon.

The guard loaded Mindanao All Stars demonstrated that speed can indeed topple the might of height. With Mark Barroca leading the way the best assembled players from Mindanao went unstoppable.

Carlo Lastimosa ignited the needed spark in the fourth quarter where everyone’s face became serious as it was winning time. Lastimosa able to convert two three-pointers plus same two point jumpers.

Barroca was named as the All Stars MVP in Digos after registering 20 points, six rebounds and seven assists. For the Smart Gilas, it was June Mar Fajardo who lead their team in scoring with 34 points and 14 rebounds. Fajardo even tried two three-point attempts but all rimmed out. He might continue to try his luck from long distance in Batangas.

Apart from that All Star game, there was three-point shootout which was won by Terrence Romeo and Atty. Mans Carpio. They have beaten the tandem of Allan Caidic and Special Assistant to the President, Secretary Bong Go.

Today’s special event are the following Obstacle Challenge, Three-Point Shootout and everyone’s favorite the Slam Dunk competition.
