2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals Schedule

The most awaited 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals has finally arrived and here is its schedule.

Both the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters are out which means that it’s TNT KaTropa and the San Miguel Beermen in the championship round.

Two years ago, the same protagonists clashed in the league’s biggest stage and also in the same conference yet there are now many changes that took place.

Back in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, the Beermen was the league-leader after the elimination round finished at 9-2.

Then they had an import in Charles Rhodes who happens to be their original import in this 2019 edition of the second conference but got replaced due to a not successful campaign.

Rhodes won the Best Import on that year and eventually, San Miguel won the championship trophy.

Fast forward to present, Talk ‘N Text finished at number one spot after the elimination round. This time around, they have a new head coach and also have an active consultant to help design a winning plays for them.

Likewise, they have the leading candidate for Best Import award in Terrence Jones. He’s a former Houston Rockets forward and a first-round pick in the NBA Draft.

Can the Beermen make a repeat or is the KaTropa will be able to avenge their defeat in 2017? That probably the main question in this best-of-seven series that will start on Sunday at the Big Dome.
