Eight teams are now in the quarterfinals round but the other four (Meralco, NLEX, Columbian and Blackwater) went to an early vacation after the elimination round.

The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters topped the standings while the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters finished at the second spot.

Both teams will be carrying a twice-to-beat advantage as they deal their opponent.

Phoenix will be battling the Alaska Aces while RoS will try to do just one game against the surging NorthPort Batang Pier.

The defending champion San Miguel Beermen are on a mission to snag its fifth consecutive rings in this All-Filipino conference.

Yet immediately they’ll be challenged by the flag bearer of the MVP franchise, the TNT KaTropa.

Talk ‘N Text finished fourth in the tournament after the end of the elimination round.

With Talk ‘N Text fast paced game, they’ll force coach Leo Austria to make an adjustment in their game plan.

Then there’s the “Manila Clasico” playoffs edition.

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel are certainly wanted to avenge their 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup semis loss against the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok.

Because of that defeat, Ginebra weren’t able to return to the championship round in that last year’s season-ending tourney to defend their title.
