A Funny Tribute To Lito Lapid’s Ang Probinsyano Character Romulo “Leon” Dumaguit

A funny fan made art to remember the character played by Lito Lapid in the show “Ang Probinsyano” is making waves in social media.

The facebook page of Take Care Tarlac City published a photo of Romulo “Leon” Dumaguit played by Lapid in the said show with a message: In Loving Memory of Our Dearest Pinuno Romulo “Leon” Dumaguit.

It has also its birthday which is the first appearance of Dumaguit in the primetime show (May 17, 2017) and its last take (February 11, 2019).

Apart from that, they put mention of the cause of death which is the actor who is playing the role is running for a seat in the Philippine Senate and the time of its death where they wrote, Pagkatapos ng TV Patrol, bago magThe General’s Daughter.

In Ang Probinsyano February 11 episode, they gave more scene time to the famous action film actor.

His iconic horseback riding along with his pistol firing abilities were once again showcased, a reminiscent of his acts in the 80’s “Ang pagbabalik ni Leon Guerrero”.

Lapid formally made his exit from the long running show as the 90-day campaign period for the senatorial candidates has already begun last February 12.

Yet, many netizens believe that though the role of Lapid as Pinuno / Leon Dumaguit already died in the show, in case he won’t make it to the senate, he can still make his way back to the show as a twin brother of the shows fallen hero.
