The former Kia Carnival import immediately shown his all-around game as registered 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.
12 of those markers came from three-point area which probably surprised the CLS Knights not thinking that the 7’3 center able to knockout long range bombs.
Alab Pilipinas returnee Renaldo Balkman also in his usual beast mode as he punished the Indonesian squad with his 33 points and 11 rebounds.
That stat line is enough for him to be declared as the Air Asia Player of the Game.
Last year’s ASEAN Basketball League MVP Bobby Ray Parks Jr., chipped in with his 10 markers while the younger brother of Matt Ganuelas-Rosser (Brandon Rosser) delivered six points.
Fil-Am Caelan Tiongson who previously played with the Chong Son Kung Fu (now Macau Black Bears) last season scored four points grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists.

“I’m pleased with the effort especially defensively. CLS is a team that can score in bunches but right from the start of the game we were able to establish ourselves defensively,” said Alab Pilipinas head coach Jimmy Alapag.
