Meralco Bolts dropped its first game against the Alaska Aces with the final score of 97-94 and the Aces grab a 1-0 lead in their best-of-5 semifinals series in the 2016 Oppo PBA Commissioners Cup held last Monday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Aces’ RJ Jazul stepped up for Alaska as he supplied with a remarkable 18 points offensive efficiency to guide his team.
Apart from Jazul seasoned Alaska Aces star player as well as Gilas Pilipinas member Calvin Abueva likewise logged 15 points, six rebounds, along with three assists, while teammate Cyrus Baguio chipped in 13 points, and Chris Banchero chimed in with 10 points and lasted the Bolts intense game.
