The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Blackwater Elite at 4:15 P.M. on August 23, 2017 live from Mall of Asia Arena.

The Aces are still searching for an opponent that can quench their winning thirst but the Elite surely will do its best to keep that victory liquid away from them.

Alaska losing streak now reached to twelve and coach Alex Compton hopes to end it after their clash versus Blackwater and his former import Henry Walker.

The Aces mentor fully aware what’s going on with the Elite and the secret of its recent success.

“Henry Walker is a really talented player and coach Leo Isaac has been doing an excellent job of utilizing him while still bringing out the best in the local players,” said Compton.

“Art dela Cruz is injured, Mac Belo hasn’t been playing due to injury, but Blackwater has still started winning since Henry has come in.”

For coach Leo Isaac and his squad, they’re chasing a back-to-back-to-back wins despite no Mac Belo and Art dela Cruz in their lineup.

“We will give our very best to achieve the first ever three-game win streak for our franchise,” Isaac said.

Phoenix Petroleum Fuel Masters and NLEX Road Warriors were the last two victims of the Elite. The latter is currently among the 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup leaders.

“Blackwater is really on its way up and we have to be ready to play our absolute best if we are to start winning again,” said Compton.
