The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Columbian Dyip at 4:30 P.M. on May 4, 2018 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Columbian Dyip wanted to keep its winning pace as they gun for a second straight victories while the Aces also have the same in mind when the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup resumes this afternoon.

Despite of helping his team to have its best start at 2-1, C.J. Aiken was still shipped out and got replaced by a Euroleague veteran Bailey John Fields III who stands at 6’8″.

Coach Ricky Dandan along with the entire Columbian Dyip franchise are very serious in their current PBA campaign and avoiding their old losing habit.

“I have repeatedly talked to them about guarding against slippage. That’s our enemy right now. Slipping back to the old ways, old attitudes that’s what we have to guard against,” related Dandan.

“The effort, the fire must always be there for us.”

Jerramy King and Rashawn McCarthy must play consistent basketball in order to help their team gain the second spot in the standings behind Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

However, this won’t come easy as the Alaska Aces are also building its own winning momentum. After a heart-breaking second conference opening game against the Elasto Painters, the Aces made a bounce back against the Blackwater Elite.

Vic Manual registered a new career-high with 27 points while their import, Antonio Campbell continue to have a brilliant performance.
