The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a knockout game against the Meralco Bolts at 7:00 P.M. on July 19, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Both the Aces and the Bolts are vying for the last ticket going to the quarterfinals round of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Meralco will be coming in their tonight’s schedule with high spirits after they defeated the mighty San Miguel Beermen last Wednesday.
Bolts import proved that he is the right fit for the coach Norman Black squad as he took responsibility to carry the team in the crucial moments of the match.
James scored the last six points for Meralco as well as an important stoppage of Beermen offense where he successfully stole the ball from the hands of Chris Mccullough.
“So we get to live another day to fight Alaska. It’s gonna be a tough game but at least we have a chance for the playoffs now,” said Black.
For the Aces, on the other hand, the last time they tasted a victory was last June 9 and coincidentally it was against the Meralco Bolts.
Yet, they’ll be facing a different squad as they now led by a new import. Likewise, the Aces also have Diamon Simpson as they also replaced their original import this conference, Chris Daniels.
