The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 7:00 P.M. on May 29, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The Aces are eyeing to break a two-game losing skid the same for the Road Warriors when the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup resumes tonight at the MOA Arena.
The reinforcement player that NLEX is waiting for was reported that he will finally suit up in tonight’s PBA main game.
Tony Mitchell who led the Star Hotshots (now Magnolia Hotshots) to a 6-2 record in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup will now play alongside Poy Erram and the entire Road Warriors.
Mitchell’s success with the Hotshots was put on halt when the franchise decided to replace him for Ricardo Ratliffe who is now the naturalized player of South Korea basketball squad.
NLEX has solid local players along with coach Yeng Guiao. They almost beat the Batang Pier in their last outing despite having no import to boost their team.
For Alaska on the other hand, Chris Banchero returned to action in their last game versus the TNT KaTropa. Yet, despite his presence, it didn’t stop for his team to absorb another defeat.
Aces’ head coach Alex Compton is for sure hoping to pick up another victory as they wait for the return of their “Muscle Man”, Vic Manuel.
