The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters at 7:00 P.M. on November 13, 2019 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Pasay City.
The Aces will try to extend their winning ways to three while the Fuel Masters wanted to put an end to their three-game slump when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes this evening in Cubao.
After starting at 0-5 this conference, Alaska seems like starting to turn tides as they climbed higher in the standings.
Probably to aid their early struggles, the Aces made a decision to make a move on their roster. The result was that they shipped Chris Banchero to Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok in exchange for two big-men.
Rodney Brondial reunites with coach Jeffrey Cariaso and for sure Rob Herndon is excited to wear the Alaska jersey this evening as the two players will make their Aces debut.
For Phoenix’s head coach Louie Alas, he wanted his troops to finish strong and ignore their current standings.
“It’s your responsibility to finish it strong,” Alas motivational words to his troops.
Though looking at the numbers, the Fuel Masters is not really totally out. If they’re able to sweep their remaining games, there’s a slight chance that they can force a sudden death match for the last playoff slot.
“Even if we win the next two games, may kailangan pa rin kaming ipagdasal na maka-tie. But I told the guys do not come in practice as if we have no chance,” Alas said.
