The Elasto Painters are eyeing for their fourth consecutive victories inside the PBA bubble and keep their perfect standings while the Aces will try to stretch their winning streak to three in a row when the league resumes its games tonight in Angeles City.

Alaska did their assignment during their match versus the Blackwater Elite and was able to evade the third quarter massive of their opponent. Not only that, they clamped the Elite big-time as they sent Blackwater to their another biggest defeat in their franchise history.

“We knew coming into this game that the third quarter has been big for them. They have young legs, they have the capabilities of putting up more than 30 points (in the third),” said Alaska coach Jeffrey Cariaso.

“That needs to be respected kasi hindi siya accident. They force turnovers that lead to easy baskets so we were just trying to stay disciplined sa gameplan namin and I’m happy that they did.”

Tonight against Rain or Shine, head coach Jeff Cariaso hopes that his wards will pick up where they left-off considering that the Elasto Painters is hungry to make their four-game winning streak.

“Tomorrow’s game will have an extra challenge because for the first time we’ll have just one day to prepare so our bench would be crucial para ma-spread out ang minutes,” said the man who is known as the “Jet”.

“Rain or Shine is playing well and they are playing together as a team. We will have our hands full because of the experience and familiarity they have with one another,” Cariaso added.

Though the playoffs still miles away yet the discussion of twice-to-beat advantage now starts to heat-up. Once ROS got their fourth victory in this year’s All-Filipino Cup their playoffs berth will be within reach and then the reward during the quarterfinals.

Rain or Shine is currently among the three teams in the league that has no defeat. For sure head coach Caloy Garcia and his troops wanted to keep that winning momentum after their tonight’s schedule.
