Almond Vostoros who is known for his clutch-three-pointers is heading to Thailand and will suit-up for Thailand Basketball Super League.
The former De La Salle University superstar guard post a tweet in his official twitter account saying that “Thailand Bound” with a hashtag “#BasketballNeverStop”. However, he didn’t mention which team he will join and in which division.
Vosotros earned his reputation as a clutch player in DLSU when he first joined the team back in 2010. He was the Archers’ second leading scorer during his Junior years behind Jeron Teng.
In 2013, he averaged 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal then led the Archers to win its first championship since 2007.
He also a member of the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems in the PBA D-League, where he scored a career-high 26 points back in 2014.
Blackwater Elite tap his services after picking him in the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft. The Elite utilized its second round 13th pich rights to snag 5’10 guard.
Vostoros is also not new in playing hoops abroad as he was a member of Gilas Pilipinas led by coach Chot Reyes.
Last year, he was selected to join the Gilas squad the participated in the 39th Jones Cup then later in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
