Here is the chosen import of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel that will reinforce their 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup bid.
Justin Brownlee
Most probably the most beloved import of the team which is popular to their “Never-Say-Die” spirit is coming back to help defend the crown.
Justin Brownlee is back and looking forward to restore order in Barangay Ginebra as well as redeem himself after his not so successful 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup.
Brownlee who stands at 6-foot-7 will be once again the shortest import in terms of height this second conference.
Yet, that couldn’t be an issue as he prove that height isn’t always matter in basketball as he is also the reigning Best Import this mid-season tourney.
Before he suit up this year with his mother team, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel he earlier joined the Mighty Sports Philippines in their international campaign which was held in Dubai, UAE.
He teamed-up with former Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Lamar Odom in his stint with Mighty.
His skills wasn’t gone unnoticed by their opponents and became the marked man as they went deeper in that middle eastern basketball tournament.
Al-Riyadi of Lebanon was so impressed with Brownlee’s talent as he was offered a contract to join their team prior to his return with the Gin Kings.
