The Basilan Steel is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Bulacan Kuyas at 8:30 P.M. on July 2, 2019 live from the Bulacan Capitol Gym, Malolos, Bulacan.
It’s the main-game and the Kuyas will play host against the visiting squad, the Steels.
Bulacan are eyeing for their third victory tonight and will take advantage of their home-court as Bulaqueños basketball fans will surely flock the Bulacan Capitol Gym.
The Kuyas are still fresh from their victory against the Bicol Volcanoes in a very tight contest, 83-81.
It was a wild finish, thanks to the defensive effort of JR Taganas who made a crucial steal and completely shut the door for the Bicolanos.
Basilan on the other hand wanted to keep their record perfect and make three consecutive wins in Bulacan.
In their last game versus the Pampanga Giant Lanterns, the Steels needed one more period to win the match.
During the overtime, they limit Pampanga points production to just three points against their twelve markers. That was enough to deflate their opponent’s chances on striking a victory.
Jerald Bautista was one of their heroes in that match as he dropped 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists while his teammate Gabriel Dagangon added 14 points, five rebounds and two assists.
