The Manila squad, on the other hand, had no problem disposing the Rizal Golden Coolers last January 6 at the San Andres Sports Complex.

The Stars wasted no time and from the get-go, they already piled a double-digit lead where their advantage went as high as 35 points.

Manila was almost unstoppable inside the paint (62-46) and they also showcased their up-tempo offense where they also won the fastbreak points (41-18).

Christopher Bitoon led the Stars with his 28 points output while Mark Dyke added 16 markers.
