Rain or Shine Elasto Painters big-man Beau Belga was successful on defending his crown as he won the 2019 Obstacle Challenge yesterday in Calasiao, Pangasinan.

Belga needed only 21 seconds to complete his tasks in the said contest.

In the first round of the competition, he easily beaten the representative of Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok, Kyle Pascual.

In the following round, his challenge got boosted when he accidentally fell on the floor. Yet, the 6-foot-5 was quick to get up after he saw an opportunity from his opponent.

“Nung nadapa ako sabi ko talo na ako. Pero pagbangon ko nakita ko si Bryan pumapasa pa, kaya sabi ko puwede pa,” said the 32-year-old Belga.

In the final round, it looks like Belga was all business. He got a chance to finish the race at 17 seconds mark but he missed his first free-throw.

“Mas competitive ngayon kasi halos hindi nagmimintis yung mga kalaban ko, Makikita mo yung oras halos dikit lahat. Mas intense ngayon,” he said.

One of the big names who joined the Obstacle Race Challenge was the four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo but he got knocked out right away in the first round versus Bryan Faundo.
