Blackwater acquired Yousef Taha after they traded off their ninth overall pick, Kurt Lojera to the Converge FiberXers.

Moreover, Ganuelas-Rosser who is the first overall pick of the 2022 PBA Draft said that there was nowhere to go to but for Blackwater.

“I know that we’ll improve on our position from the last conference as long as we don’t cheat the work and put in the work, good things will happen for us,” he said.

Renato Ular and Mark Dyke, youngbloods for Blackwater, join the squad after they got drafted.

In the Governors’ Cup of the PBA’s 46th season, Blackwater finished with only one win and that was against the Magnolia Hotshots, the top seed. Blackwater can make up for their poor performance in the approaching 47th season with their fresh lineup.
