Here are the Blackwater Elite players who will suit up for the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup.
The Elite was among the busiest teams in the PBA in realigning its roster as well as its coaching staff in hopes to have a much successful outcome in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup and perhaps for the entire 45th PBA season.
They have traded their biggest acquisition last season and that’s by drafting Bobby Parks Jr., yet they have traded him during the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup to acquire several veterans from the TNT KaTropa.
Likewise, they have brought in former Gilas Pilipinas stretch player Carl Bryan Cruz. Also, they made a trade to the Meralco Bolts where they were able to get the services of KG Canaleta and Mike Tolomia.
Yet, one of the highlights of Blackwater this season is their 2019 PBA Draft acquisition where they picked the 6-foot-9 Maurice Shaw who is also dubbed as the oldest rookie from the said draft class.
It’s now up to the newly hired head coach Nash Racela how he will utilize his aging but most likely dependable rookie most especially that June Mar Fajardo and Greg Slaughter are expected to be absent in the land of giants this season.
