Blackwater Elite team owner is so disappointed with his squad’s recent defeat versus the Talk ‘N Text KaTropa, 89-127.
A whooping 38-point deficit needed to be swallowed by the entire Elite and once again they’re on the borderline of getting eliminated from the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.
As reported by spin, Dioceldo Sy was seen leaving the Ynares Center last Saturday in a bad mood and before he left he gave hints that there maybe a team shake-up from the coaching staff to their existing roster.
“Felt bad, worst loss in Blackwater franchise history,” said Sy shaking his head. “Losing by 38 or 40 points means there’s something already wrong with the team.”
It was the second time that Blackwater lost this kind of match. The last time was in 2015 versus the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 85-123.
In the off-season several of Elite’s key players got traded to other teams. Poy Erram is now in NLEX Road Warriors, Paul Zamar is with the San Miguel Beermen and Nards Pinto is now with the Meralco Bolts.
Despite of losing those personnel, the team owner expects that his squad is good for a middle placer this All-Filipino.
