The Blackwater Elite is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok at 7:00 P.M. on October 10, 2018 live from the Cuneta Astrodome.
The Elite are looking to make another rampage and improve their current position in the standings while the Hotshots are eager to extend their winning streak to four when PBA resume this evening in Pasay.
In their game against the Meralco Bolts, it was Paul Zamar who hit the game winner then two nights later against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters it was the time for Nards Pinto to shine as he also hits a dagger three-pointer and finished with another victory.
That is the current trend for the Elite’s success this conference, getting buried in the first three quarters then bring the match to a close-game in the last quarter.
If in the previous conferences Blackwater just aiming for a quarterfinals slot, this time they’re now looking for a twice-to-beat advantage and finished the elimination round as one of the top four squads.
“It’s a big game in our bid to make the Top Four,” said Blackwater coach Bong Ramos.
For Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero, they will unleash their talents and focus on what they do best and that playing defense.
“It could be a grind-out game, and so mental toughness and execution is very important for this game,” said Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.
“They are playing very well right now as a team and we expect a battle on both ends. We need to go to our strength which is defense,” added Victolero.
