Both the Elite and the Batang Pier will make its 44th PBA season debut this afternoon at the Big Dome.
Blackwater will feature its revamped lineup, probably half of their known players who made big impact last season are now shipped to different teams.
Tratter can use his experience playing with the Gilas Pilipinas to control those jitters while for Desiderio, he can now start chanting his famous “Atin to!” battlecry.
“Tomorrow’s game is crucial because it will be a test for Blackwater,” said head coach Bong Ramos.
“We will see on what level are we at this stage after the off-season preparation,” added Ramos.
For NorthPort on the other hand, coach Pido Jarencio will have a healthy and fit-to-play roster.
“The team is ready to compete,” said Jarencio. “We just need to get a good start to get us going.”
Robert Bolick, NorthPort’s third pick in last year’s draft will try to be a compliment to their scoring champ, Stanley Pringle.
