The Blackwater Elite is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Seoul SK Knights at 3:00 P.M. on September 17, 2019 live from Macao’s Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavilion, Macau, China.
The Macau based basketball tournament known as “The Terrific 12” is back for its 2019 installment. For its first salvo, it’s the battle between the Elite and the SK Knights.
Blackwater turned the heads of many local basketball fans after they took over the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup standings during its early stages.
A revamp in their coaching staff and the addition of Alex Stepheson and their most awaited prized rookie, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., the Elite becomes a legit championship contender.
However, Stepheson left the team too soon due to health condition and Blackwater’s mid-season campaign got hampered though they were able to reach the playoffs.
In this tournament, Stepheson is back in the roster along with another dependable import in Aaron Fuller.
Fuller became a mainstay for the NLEX Road Warriors in the past two Governors’ Cup.
For team Seoul, they will be the first foreign squad to test Blackwater.
SK Knights is a two-time Korean Basketball League champion and they wanted to bring the same success in Macau.
