The Bulacan Kuyas is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mindoro Tamaraws at 8:30 P.M. on August 17, 2019 live from the Baliwag Star Arena, Bulacan.

The Kuyas wanted to make a quick bounce-back win while the Tamaraws will try to end their two-game losing skid when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup resumes this evening in Baliuag, Bulacan.

The Bulacan group is coming from a loss against the Iloilo United Royals last August 14 in Angeles University Foundation Gymnasium.

Their slow start in the first quarter which limits their scoring to only 8 points probably the main reason why they played catch up for the entire match and eventually to their defeat.

Now that they’ll be playing at home tonight, the team hopes that they won’t repeat that instead their fans will witness a fired up Kuyas from tip-off until the final buzzer.

John Ray Alabanza paced his team on that clash with his 18 points and nine boards performance.

For the Mindoro squad, on the other hand, they too are coming from defeat against the Pampanga Giant Lanterns last August 14 in AUF Gymnasium.

Similar to their tonight’s counterpart, they also had a slow start in their last outing. Not only in the opening quarter but it got extended up to the second period. For the entire first half, they had a combined woeful 15 points.

Though they were able to recover in the final quarter by scoring 37 points, yet, Pampanga already in a comfortable position to snag another win.

Rodel Vaygan led the Tamaraws in scoring during that showdown where he delivered 16 markers and five rebounds.
