Just three days from now, the Philippine Basketball Association will unveil its new talents that will keep fans at the edge of their seats while watching the game.
A total of 55 applicants who shown interest to join the PBA 2016 Draft and one name standout from the list. Not because he’s the most hyped player from the collegiate level or from the PBA D-League but because of his listed age.
Charley Caluya who is the 26th player in the final list of the 2016 PBA Draft Applicants is making a buzz around the Philippines Hoops universe.
Caluya who is also known as Kobe (as in Kobe Bryant) to his fans is 43-years-old will join other PBA prospects to showcase their skills and hoping to be called during the draft day.
According to Caluya he was once awarded as a Rookie of the Year at the same time won the Most Valuable Player in one of the basketball leagues he joined.
“God given me this special talent, I want to prove na despite my age at 43 kaya ko pang maglaro at a very high level“, Caluya added.
