Former Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates superstar guard Jaymar “CJ” Perez signs contract with the Columbian Dyip.

Perez is the number one pick of the just concluded 2018 PBA Draft.

In contrary to last year’s draft, where the franchise traded their number one pick rights to the San Miguel Beermen, this 2018 they made sure that they’re top rookie will stay for good.

CJ Perez was the main man of LPU last NCAA 94 where he helped the team register 15 wins in 18 elimination games.

The Pirates reached the Finals and played against his fellow rookie Robert Bolick and the San Beda Red Lions.

Officials of Columbian Dyip didn’t disclose how many years Perez has signed but usually according to spin.ph, top rookies got two to three-year deal.

Now that Columbian snagged one of the big fishes from this year’s rookie pool, it’s now time for them to tweak their roster to realize the full potential of CJ Perez.
