The De La Salle University Green Archers is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers at 4:00 P.M. on October 23, 2019 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
The Green Archers will try to make a quick bounce-back victory while the Growling Tigers will try to extend their winning streak to three and solidify their number three position in the standings.
All that when the UAAP Season 82 resumes at the Big Dome this afternoon.
Team Lasal is coming from a defeat against the Far Eastern University Tamaraws last October 19 in Ynares in Antipolo.
Their opponent showed no mercy in that said match where FEU was seen overtaking the game since the first quarter to the last buzzer of the said game. A massive 21-point defeat suffered by DLSU and that one of the reasons why they’re currently outside the borderline of the Final Four.
Justine Baltazar led the Green Archers in scoring with his 16 points along with his nine rebounds. His teammate Ken Tuffin added 14 points while shooting at 4-of-6 accuracy from downtown.
For team UST on the other hand, they dismantled the National University Bulldogs by winning a double-digit margin last October 19 also in Ynares Center.
That Growling Tigers victory eliminated the Bulldogs in the UAAP Season 82.
CJ Cansino and Rhenz Abando teamed-up in that said win where they had a combined score of 19 points.
