Duterte-Cayetano to Focus on the Mindanao Railway System Once Seated In Malacañang Palace

Presidential aspirant Mayor Rodrigo Duterte along with his running mate Senator Alan Peter Cayetano also referred to as the Duterte-Cayetano tandem revived the plan and would like to put in priority the 200-kilometer Mindanao Railway System.

The railway system was designed to connect Mindanao’s food-producing areas to the country’s markets, for instance in Manila.

Based from Senator Alan Peter Cayetano who’s running for Vice President under Duterte’s line-up, the railway system would offer low-cost transportation model for foods as well as for other agricultural products from Mindanao, that would maintain the country’s food costs minimal and economical for individuals in major metropolitan areas.
