Duterte To Binay: “Davao City Is Not Makati City”

Philippines most well-liked presidential candidate particularly on social media, former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte made a strong and direct response to the accusations tossed at him by the camp of Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay when talked about the matter of abused public funds in Davao City.

Based on the 70-year-old Mayor Digong Duterte, he’d bow out from the presidential race if it is confirmed that even a single peso got misused. Mayor Rody Duterte was cited as stating “Davao City is not Makati City. Duterte is not (Jejomar) Binay,” he said. “Maski may mawala diyan na singko sentimos, magwithdraw ako. Gusto mo sabay kami magwithdraw eh. ‘Pag may i-file na kasi sa akin ang COA (Commission on Audit), magwithdraw kaming dalawa. Hamunin ko siya,” he said.

The presidential candidate of PDP – Laban who is regarded as the top aspirant on the list of millions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) throughout the world even dared the Vice President that they both pull away from the race.

Binay, miski isang piso lang nawala sa syudad ko, wiwithdraw ako. Ngayon hahamunin kita. Ako wala pa yan, wala pang COA (report). ‘Yung propaganda mo, naghahanap ka lang ng damay kasi ikaw talaga yung makukulong. Ngayon hahamunin kita. Bilyon-bilyon yung nanakaw mo, magwithdraw tayong dalawa ngayon.

The matter of the alleged improper use of the Department of Education (DepEd) money in Davao City began when the camp of UNA made news headlines mentioning a 2014 COA record that discovered issues in the utilization of Davao’s Special Education Fund amounting to greater than P45 million.

Mayor Rody Duterte also said that if he’ll be given the opportunity, he’ll certainly ask Vice President Jojo Binay regarding corruption accusations in the eagerly anticipated second nationwide debate which is to be held in University of the Philippines – Cebu City this next Sunday, March 20, 2016.
