Bombo Radyo’s anchorwoman Erlyn Bayonita went trending online after she lambasted OFW seafarers who shown dissatisfaction on their assigned quarantine facility in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

According to the anchorwoman, as also mentioned above, there are several of the newly arrived OFWs are complaining of the place where they will undergo their mandatory 14-day quarantine period. Some of them even posted their sentiments online where they shared photos of their temporary shelter.

Bayonita gave her lecture during her radio program and told those dissatisfied OFW seafarers to understand the current situation instead of whining. She also said that the quarantine period will only last for 14 days which is much shorter compared to the time they spent outside the country where they faced hardships while they are away from their family.

On the evening of April 28, 2020 there are 52 Overseas Filipino Workers arrived in BREDCO seaport after they got stranded in an area in Metro Manila due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine imposed in Luzon. The majority of them are seafarers according to reports.

24 individuals from the group are from Bacolod City while the remaining 28 are residents of different areas in the Province of Negros Occidental.
