The Far Eastern University Tamaraws is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the De La Salle University Green Archers at 4:00 P.M. on October 19, 2019 live from the Ynares Center, City of Antipolo.
The Tamaraws wanted to improve their 5-6 record and get a better chance to be included in the top-four teams while the Green Archers will try to make back-to-back wins when the UAAP Season 82 continues in Ynares Center this afternoon.
Team FEU is coming from a loss against the hot streaking Ateneo Blue Eagles last October 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tamaraws was looking good particulary in the first half of that said match and it seems they’re on their way to give Ateneo their first defeat this season. However, in the following half, the Blue Eagles woke up and took over the game then register their 11 straight wins.
L-Jay Gonzales paced the Far Eastern University in scoring with his 12 points while teammates Rey Bienes and Ino Comboy added their eight points apiece.
For team Lasal on the other hand, they’re coming from a win versus the University of the East Red Warriors last October 16 in MOA Arena.
The Green Archers were able to avenge their first-round loss versus UE. Justine Baltazar showcased once again his might inside the paint to help their squad to a position at the number in the standings.
Baltazar was the go-to-guy of Lasal in the said basketball contest where he produced 23 points and 12 rebounds while teammate Jamie Malonzo and Encho Serrano added 12 points each.
