The Far Eastern University Tamaraws is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers at 4:00 P.M. on October 13, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
The Tamaraws are looking to make a quick bounce-back while the Growling Tigers will try to strengthen their playoffs bid and improve their current position in the standings when the UAAP Season 82 resumes this afternoon in Pasay.
Team FEU is coming from an overtime game defeat versus the National University Bulldogs last October 11 at the Big Dome.
The Tamaraws had a 17-0 spurt in that said game which forced the match to extend for another five minutes to determine which team will be the winner. Yet, Bulldogs’ Dave Ildefonso took center stage as he propelled his squad to victory.
Barkley Ebona paced Far Eastern University with his 15 points while teammate Royce Alforque added 11 markers.
For team UST on the other hand, they’re coming from a huge victory versus the University of the East Red Warriors last October 9 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Growling Tigers posted a highest-scoring team as well as the biggest winning margin this UAAP Season 82. That victory gave UST a solo third in the standings and for sure they wanted to retain or either improve that as the playoffs is just around the corner.
Soulemance Chabi Yo and Zach Huang led their team in scoring during that basketball contest with their 22 points apiece output.
