France Beats Canada In 2016 FIBAOQT – Manila Leg Finals (Scores and Highlights)

Team France will now join Croatia and Serbia to the 2016 Rio Olympics. “Les Blues” won the 2016 FIBAOQT – Manila leg against Canada, 83-74.

The last time Tony Parker scored more than 20 points was against Gilas Pilipinas in their first game in Manila. Tonight, the starting point guard of San Antonio Spurs logged 26 points where most of his points came in the second half of the game.

Anthony Bennett who was the 1st pick of Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2013 NBA Draft was instrumental as Canada attempts to catch up with France after got down by 10 points in the third quarter, 38-48. He dropped a three-pointer that cuts the lead to just five, 62-67 but Tony Parker was always there to make an answer.

Nando de Colo who was named the 2016 FIBAOQT – Manila Leg Most Valuable Player added 22 points.

Canada’s Corey Joseph was defended well by France but still scored 20 points. The athletic forward, Melvin Ejim chipped in 19 points and helped Canada to stay in the ball-game.

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Croatia, France, Lithuania, Nigeria, Serbia, Spain, USA and Venezuela will be the teams that are qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
