The “It’s Showtime” host and comedian, Vice Ganda is planning to have a free concert in Davao City. This is to make up for his cancelled performance at the “DU31: One Love, One Nation Thanksgiving Party” of President Rody Duterte last June 4 in Davao City’s Crocodile Park.

Based on a write-up authored by ABS-CBN News, the award-winning host/actor mentioned in an interview with Gretchen Fulido: “They’re planning for a big concert in Davao. Free siya para doon sa mga gusto sanang mapanuod ako pero hindi natuloy. (It’s going to be free for all those who wanted to watch my performance, which was canceled.)

Power outage as well as heavy rains pushed Vice to call off his initially planned concert at President Duterte’s victory party.

Vice utilized social media to convey his dissatisfaction.

Nakakiyak! Di man nakapagperform dahil sumabog ang kuryente ok lang. Sapat na saking nagkita kita tayo, nagkawayan at nagkamayan.” Vice Ganda captioned on one of his tweets.

Furthermore, he also tweeted a picture of himself waving at the audience along with a caption: “I love you Davao! #Du31”.

Despite the fact that he didn’t promote the incoming president throughout the campaign period, Vice Ganda was pleased that Duterte become the victorious one among the five presidential candidates.

Each of them enjoyed a great conversation when “The Punisher” made an appearance on Vice Ganda’s Sunday late-night talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” a year ago.

Right after President Duterte took his oath as the Philippines’ new president, Vice once more shown his support.

Based on a write-up authored by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), he invited all Filipinos to adapt to the change brought on by the Duterte administration.
