Known as the “french spider-man”, Alain Robert was successful on climbing up and down the GT Tower in Ayala, Makati City.
However, instead of congratulating him with his achievement, the city police were waiting for him on the ground to get him arrested.
According to authorities, Mr. Robert has violated a city ordinance. Although he didn’t entered the building but still the GT Tower is a private property.
“Yung kaniyang inakyat although hindi niya pinasok inakyat nya is a private property at wala siyang pahintulot wala siyang coordination he’s also a safety threat sa lahat,” said P/SSUPT. Rogelio Simon, Chief of Makati Police.
He is charged with Alarms and scandal, other forms of trespass.
When he got interviewed he said that he is just giving a free entertainment to the people.
Sydney Opera House, Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Towers, New York’s Empire State Building, and the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai were the other skyscrapers already in the portfolio of successful climbs owned by Alain Robert.
