The GenSan Warriors is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Muntinlupa Cagers at 6:30 P.M. on August 17, 2019 live from the Baliwag Star Arena, Bulacan.

The Warriors wanted to keep their winning ways and even extend it to six straight while the Cagers will try to avoid their third straight defeats when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup continue this evening at the Baliwag Star Arena.

The Warriors are coming from a convincing victory against the Navotas Clutch last August 12 in FilOil Flying V Centre.

They used the final quarter to unmask their true identity and the reason why they’re currently one of the hottest teams in the South Division. They held their opponent to score only 12 points in that decisive period while they continue to be consistent in scoring all game long.

Warriors’ Mike Williams had double-double performance with his 22 markers and 10 dimes while Robby Celiz added 21 points and nine rebounds.

For the Muntinlupa group, on the other hand, they got stunned with the Cebu City Sharks when they flew south last August 10.

A woeful third-quarter run for the Cagers where they got shut down and only produced nine points. That was most likely the main candidate why they lost the game a week ago.

Biboy Enguio delivered a double-double effort but still not enough to silence the home crowd. He gave 16 points and 11 boards in that clash.
