Our today’s featured PBA Player is a versatile power forward and who can also play at the center position. He is Rain or Shine’s Raymond “Rock en Roll” Almazan.
Almazan entered the league as the third overall pick via the 2013 PBA draft selected by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
He helped the RoS franchise to win the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup and was a NCAA Most Valuable Player in 2013.
After his stellar performance during the 2017 SEABA Championships which was held in Manila, coach Chot Reyes has decided to include him as one of the twelve Gilas players that will represent the country this coming 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.
Behind the basketball curtains, Almazan likes to play guitar and video games like DOTA. He also loves cooking and proud of his special Adobo recipe that probably one of the reasons why his wife fell in love with him.
